Your Coach: Kelly Hegarty

With experience as a high school teacher and coach, a master’s degree in education, personal trainer certifications, and a B.S. in biological science with an emphasis on health and fitness, Kelly brings a wealth of experience to her online classes. Her influence extends beyond typical classrooms as she has presented on various topics for students and coaches at camps and conventions throughout the Midwest, as well as several local colleges and universities.

A diverse background in track and field, dance, strength training, endurance sports, pilates and personal training give her a unique perspective on fitness. Drawing from her roles as a personal training manager and educator for new trainers at Life Time, she possesses a keen understanding of the qualities that contribute to success in the fitness industry. Currently serving at Life Time as a personal trainer, pilates instructor, nutrition coach, and Life Time Academy CPT instructor, Kelly’s passion for bringing out the best in her athletes, students, clients, and colleagues shines through in every class.
